This collaboration by Dwell and Target has resulted in a very cheap but very good looking contemporary baby bedding collection. Pale blue tones provide the back drop for prints of various animals such as a camel, a whale and a hippo.

It is only a three piece but it's made from 100% cotton and you can't argue with the price. Available from Target

Madison Crib Bedding 4 Piece Set

This bright and cheery collection uses greens blues and pinks on its 100% cotton.

The theme is large colorful circles, and like with many of the low-cost bedding sets it's a simple design, but one that works. Available from Target.

Amy Coe Mod Safari Bedding Collection 4 piece set

This really isn't bad at all, especially when you notice it is a 4 piece and one of the cheaper of the cheap
contemporary crib bedding sets. Pale blues and subtle animal prints make this collection a delight.

The more of these cheap sets I look at the more amazed I am at how good they look. By keeping designs simple, as Trend Lab do here, it seems that prices can really be kept down.

Great looking set in mainly browns with a simple circles and polka dots theme. We like it, oh yes we like it a lot.

Bacati Jersey Knit Boys 5 Piece Crib Bedding Set/ girl

Bacati have some really great looking modern collections in a some what higher price range.

Here they've managed to keep costs down and produce a set in blues, greens and yellows that is entirely in keeping with the well respected brand name. I honestly don't know how they make this set so cheap. My pick of the bunch.

Vine Floral 5 Piece Crib Bedding Set

Just creeps in under $100! Its colorful, it's modern, it's simple, it's 100% cotton and has a pretty floral design.

This one, again, is real value for money and though at the top end of the cheap price range, is a 5 piece set. We like it but aren't as crazy about it as we are for some of the other contemporary baby bedding.
