They are also hand embroidered in Zimbabwe, to continue the Africa theme!

They don't impose on this set at all. The colors are all light and airy - whites, apricots blues and greens - think Safari tent at the end of a hard day rather than thick jungle. As you've probably guessed, I highly recommend this set.
